Artificial nature of the catchphrase

“Fabulous” is the first case of the catchphrase being artificially made, instead of being a natural part of the character’s vocabulary. In the script draft The Fab Watch, it’s been told that Lisa patched her own software to make “fabulous” her favorite word, which is sticked since then.

Uses

  • One of the Lisa’s aliases, Dr. Elizabeth Ausbuloff, is an anagram for “Fabulous,” with an extra F, which is explained as “frantically fabulous.”
  • Fab Watch has a shortened form of the catchphrase, “Fab.”
